The Christmas tree at the lobby At the lobby, when checking in, one is offered strawberry lemonade and during this Christmas season, we are also offered hot apple cider. We can also checkout complimentary DVD movies, Sony Playstation2 games, books and magazines. Both the pools have poolside bars that serve drinks and food. The pools also have attendants offering to setup a pool chair for you as well as offering towels, water, etc.

Del Coronado Hotel  Here is the view from our villa in building 26 of the Summits.
The Meadows buildings are seen, and the Batiquitos Lagoon is seen in the distance. When checking in, we are given a list of
activities at and around the resort. One of the things listed was the Farmers
Market in downtown Carlsbad. We bought fresh vegetables, flowers, fruits and
frozen tamales!
